Cooking class: learn how to cook Italian recipes

Private Experience
Your experience
  • Valdostana-style lasagna
  • Mountain-style hot crostini duo
  • Apple cake with whipped cream

Learn to cook a delicious three-course meal featuring typical ingredients from the Valley! We'll start by preparing an apple cake using apples gathered from nearby fields. While the cake bakes, we'll focus on lasagna, making fresh pasta and béchamel sauce, then layering it with cooked ham and fontina cheese, the delightful Valle d'Aosta 'flagship' pairing. Finally, we'll prepare hot crostini topped with hazelnut crumble: the first with lardo on local black bread, and the second with thin pear slices, melting the classic local Bleu d'Aoste cheese over them. We'll then sit down to enjoy the dishes we've prepared. Of course, good wine will be included!

A thoroughly enjoyable morning. Ebike tour of Aosta Valley which included a visit to an apple orchard, delicious pastries and finished with a cheese & meat board in the most beautiful setting. This was more than a traditional walking street food tour. A wonderful way to explore the beautiful valley with a friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful host. I felt well looked after and relaxed. Thank you Adriana

What a lovely and unique experience cooking at Adriana`s home! We learned how to make 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu, and it was delicious. We felt that Adriana went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

My husband and I loved the cooking experience with Adriana! From her cosy home, to learning how to make pasta and tiramisu, to tips and tricks we will use form now on when cooking at home. She was very friendly and warm, as well as giving us advise and recipes for other dishes that we had asked her about. A fun evening event with a great host and fantastic food!

I'm Milanese by origin but Valdostana by adoption, I've been living here for 10 years but I've always spent my holidays in the Valley, and its cuisine has always been synonymous with vacation and well-being for me. In everyday life I cook tasty but healthy dishes for my family, but when I invite friends and family I like to go wild preparing more elaborate and rich dishes, as are often those of the mountain tradition.
