- A welcome aperitif with bruschetta topped with fresh tomatoes, local cured meats and cheeses. All accompanied by a glass of prosecco
- Fettuccine with fresh tomato sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano and basil

We’ll meet on Corso Umberto in Taormina, just beneath the Porta Messina Arch. It will be an immersive experience, bringing you into contact with authentic local life. I’ll open the doors to my home, just twenty minutes from Taormina, to welcome you into an authentic, homely atmosphere. Together we’ll make fresh, handmade pasta, and I’ll share my secrets and techniques with you.
We’ll kick off the experience with a welcome aperitif and a glass of prosecco; we’ll try two different types of pasta and finish with the queen of Sicilian desserts: the ricotta cannolo. We’ll pair the tasting with some local red wine. I can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with you. The experience will go ahead provided there are at least two guests, to ensure you have an enjoyable and convivial time.

- This was hands down the best part of our trip! Joseph and Rosabella welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We had such a wonderful time and learned how easy and fun it can be to make pasta at home. Joseph shared so much interesting information about the area and its history, while Rosabella provided us with simple, clear cooking instructions. Both were incredibly kind and welcoming. Communication and updates before the excursion were excellent as well. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Messina. It was a truly memorable experience and a highlight of our trip!

- We had a great experience with Rosella, loved that they took pictures so we could enjoy the cooking and eating. Everything was delicious and she provides the recipes to try at home! Nice excursion that isn't your typical tour.

- Rosella was fantastic. What a wonderful way to spend time in Messina. We started in the market, about 25 min walk from our cruise ship. We met Rosella and her cousin (with perfect English), we toured the market, bought some groceries, and then met Rosella’s kind husband outside for a car ride to their new house atop a hill. Once inside, we were greeted with appetizers, wine, coffees, water, etc. and then suited up in our aprons and started the cooking lesson. We made homemade pesto, using a mortar and pestle! The basil smelled divine. Then we all made fresh pasta by hand. After we all ate together and really got to know one another, the time flew by. We loved sitting around their table, in their beautiful home, with a beautiful meal and were surprised by the most delicious cannolis you’ve ever had!! My dad doesn’t usually like cannolis but after a bite of mine, he went for a whole one! Ha. After the meal, we took some photos and downloaded the ones they had taken, and Rosellas husband gave us a ride back to town, 2 min walk to the cathedral, clock tower, fountain and cruise terminal. It was a lovely day. I would recommend this experience as the best way to experience Sicily for anyone visiting Messina!
