If you book only ONE experience in Italy, let it be this one. ❤️🇮🇹 We came to Anna’s home expecting an amazing Italian cooking experience, but we left feeling like we had gained family. This was hands down one of the most magical and unforgettable days of our entire Mediterranean trip. Anna and her wonderful mother, Mary, are simply special people. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with such warmth that we immediately felt at home. Anna was funny, energetic, incredibly sweet, and made the entire experience so much fun. What touched us especially was how she included our 8-year-old son from the very beginning. She made him feel like he was just as much a part of the experience as the adults, and as a parent, that meant everything. And the food! We made homemade pesto with fresh ingredients from Anna’s own garden, gathered eggs from her free-range chickens, and learned to make four or five different kinds of pasta together. This wasn’t simply a cooking class—it was being welcomed into an Italian home and experiencing their food, family, traditions, and way of life. We were also celebrating my cousin’s wife’s 50th birthday, and Anna and Mary went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. At the end of our day, they surprised her with tiramisu, 50 candles, and a Happy Birthday song! It was one of those beautiful, spontaneous moments you know your family will talk about for years. We absolutely could not have chosen a better Cesarine experience. What Anna and Mary created for us was unmatched. We arrived as guests and truly left feeling like family. If you are lucky enough to find availability with Anna, BOOK IT. This wasn’t simply one of the highlights of Italy—it was one of the highlights of our entire trip. We got married on June 6, 2026, and purchased our wedding favors from the very kind Ms. Maria Rosa. Calling them "wedding favors" is a huge understatement! We chose some beautiful artisan-made jars, selecting the colors we liked, along with the confetti, etc. These jars are actually treasure chests containing the love, passion, culture, and many sacrifices of the family that produces the elixir inside: Coratina olive oil, which is unique! Since then, we cannot go without eating it raw on every dish, including a spoonful at breakfast. Some time later, our guests asked us where they could get it... we couldn't have received greater satisfaction. It is only right to share this emotion with Maria Rosa and her family. From the first phone contact, there was empathy, availability, great professionalism, and a deep knowledge of the oil she produces and the olive oil world. We wanted to give our guests an emotion, and we succeeded! Frequently asked questions
How does the Cesarine Gift Card work?
Choose the amount for the Gift Card by selecting one of the preset options or entering the amount you prefer. You can personalize the Gift Card by selecting a theme and adding a message for the gift recipient.
Then, proceed with the purchase: once the payment is completed, you’ll receive an email with the Gift Card attached. If you wish, you can also email the Gift Card directly to the recipient from the purchase confirmation page.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts?
From €50 to €500. Pick one of the preset amounts — €50, €100 or €200 — or type any figure you like within those limits.
When does the Gift Card arrive? Can I schedule the delivery?
The Gift Card arrives by email within minutes of payment, attached as a PDF. There is no scheduled delivery: it comes to you and you forward it whenever you like, Christmas morning included. From the order confirmation page you can also have it sent straight to the recipient's email address.
Do I need an account to buy or use the Gift Card?
To complete the purchase, yes: the checkout asks you to sign in or register. To use it, no: the recipient can book their experience as a guest, entering the code at payment.
How to book after purchasing the Gift Card?
You can use the Gift Card to purchase any experience on cesarine.com with a value equal to or greater than that of the card. After selecting the experience, simply enter the Gift Card code in the “Promo Code” field in the cart and click “Apply”: the Gift Card value will be deducted from the total amount. For any questions, visit help.cesarine.com.
Do I have to spend the whole amount at once?
Yes: the Gift Card is used on a single booking and in full — it leaves no balance to spend later. So pick an experience that costs at least as much as the Gift Card; if it costs more, you only pay the difference.
Can I use two Gift Cards on the same booking?
No: one Gift Card per booking.
How long is the Gift Card valid?
The Gift Card will be active for one year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the Gift Card PDF, along with the amount.
What language does the Gift Card come in?
You choose it when you buy — Italian, English, Spanish, French or German. The card and the instructions for using it arrive in the language you picked.
Can I print the Gift Card?
Yes — it is a PDF. Print it and hand it over, or forward the email as it is.
Are Gift Cards refundable?
No, Gift Cards are non-refundable.
If I cancel the booking, do I lose the Gift Card?
No. If a booking paid with the Gift Card is cancelled, the Gift Card becomes active again and can be used for another experience.
In which cities are the Cesarine and Cesarini present?
The Cesarine Community is present in over 400 cities: from major tourist destinations to the most charming small villages.
Are the experiences private or are there other guests?
Our experiences can be either private or shared. You can find this information in the description of each experience.
