Our Cesarina Alessandra welcomes her guests to Preganziol, a small provincial town near Treviso, where you can breathe a calm air, where there is an atmosphere of peace: houses with small vegetable gardens or gardens and a lovely small church overlooking the main square. "I consider cooking an act of love and sharing, seeing my guests happy at my table gives me so many emotions. It is a way of pampering the people I love, but it is also a constant curiosity to know new tastes, to experiment and challenge myself."

What better occasion to experience the welcome of a Cesarina of an occasion such as an anniversary, birthday or one of the holidays we love to celebrate with our loved ones? This year spring seems to be late but if the weather allows, at my house we can eat in the garden, in the middle of the green.  So in this season I propose a spring menu full of flavor and freshness.  As an appetizer I propose baskets of phyllo dough with a fresh spring salad and quail eggs, as a first course some soft creps with a filling of asparagus and peas, as a second course a tasty roll of rabbit rabbit cooked at low temperature and to finish in sweetness a strawberry tiramisu, all accompanied by strawberry tiramisu, all accompanied by a fresh prosecco from the Treviso hills.

Throughout the Veneto region it is a widespread tradition to meet with friends for an aperitif before dinner accompanied by many small samples (cicchetti) that sometimes replace dinner precisely because of their variety and abundance.  We will prepare together some of the tastiest cicchetti, depending on the season, such as: polenta croutons with creamed cod, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella, fish or eggplant balls, small cocoa sandwiches with smoked salmon, croutons with lard and honey, bruschetta with chickpeas and octopus stew, eggplant rolls with spek and goat cheese ... accompanied by the classic spritz. With the coffee I will make you taste the fregolotta with almonds or radicchio (in season).

My friends and I booked a cooking class with Alessandra on our recent trip to Treviso. Alessandra was such a warm and attentive host, and our class with her was one of the highlights of my trip. Alessandra welcomed us to her beautiful home with some homemade appetisers and prosecco while we waited for all of our guests to arrive. When it was time to start in the kitchen, Alessandra was sure to make sure that everyone was involved in the class, and everybody understood what we were doing. It was a lot of fun, and the time flew by. It was just as enjoyable to sit with Alessandra and her family and enjoy the fruits of our labour at the end of a busy morning. I look forward to trying out these recipes at home and can’t wait to share my results with Alessandra. Grazie Mille Alessandra!

The best Sunday in Italy ! Great experience. Alessandra welcomed us like a family and you see that she is putting all her love and knowledge to prepare dishes. It was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was great! We will visit Alessandra again for sure!;)
