Alessandra was a brilliant host and we had a fun time. She explained things well and answered all of our questions. We loved the food and will definitely be trying to recreate the food back at home.

Very interesting when Allesandra shared her knowledge about local genuine food, cooking and life in Ischia! Note: if you put the address Vico Mastro Gaetano 1, Forio, 80075, Napoli, Campania, Italia in a map in your cellphone, it will readdress you to Via Gaetano Morgera, 1 Right gps-spot is the following: https://goo.gl/maps/yEtUoWXryYVZiXTZ6

Alessandra was fantastic. She welcomed us into her home and we were made to feel like special guests in her kitchen. We were treated to fantastic recipes and drinks. She let us be as involved as we wanted with a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious - the best we ate in Forio, and the fresh ingredients were all from her or her family’s garden which made it even more special. The recipes showcased the beauty of fresh ingredients through simple, yet exquisite recipes like bruschetta, two vibrant pasta dishes, and a heavenly homemade tiramisu. The use of tomatoes, lemons, basil, and zucchini brought an authentic and refreshing taste to each dish, making the class both educational and deliciously rewarding. Her recommendations of where else to go on the island were very well appreciated too. I can’t wait to cook the recipes myself at home when we get back, and to do another cooking class with her when we come back to Ischia

Amazing! We loved our experience with Alessandra, you can tell she has a real passion and respect for food. She asked what we wanted so we went with coniglio alla ischitana (rabbit) which is a typical dish from Ischia, and rather difficult to have in the restaurant as you often have to order it in advance. We got everything fresh from the market which was at walking distance, the wine was local and made by a friend of hers and was amazing. She also gave us useful tips and recommendations for the rest of our stay in ischia. We went back to the same market for cheap souvenirs and to grab stuff for a picnic a few days later.
