I’m Cinzia, your Cesarina, and I welcome you in a characteristic stone farmhouse — in the village of Merana, between the Langa Astigiana and Monferrato — in a valley surrounded by hills and gullies with a lunar aspect.A love for authentic cuisine, fruit and vegetables from the garden, wine from local producers, and honey from my hard-working bees are the basis of my menus.A culinary experience at my house will give you a taste of the simple and genuine flavors of Piedmontese cuisine.

Nothing better than making fresh pasta in Italy

Cinzia and her mother in law were fantastic hosts. I had made pasta before but learned so much from them. The dinner was fantastic they went above and beyond we had multiple courses two different kinds of pasta and a fabulous dessert. It was very generous of them to invite me into their home. I really had a fantastic time and I would encourage anybody who is interested in this type of experience to book with Cinzia! - March 2025

I was with my boyfriend at Cinzia’s house, who welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at ease. She set the table in the apartment, which is next to the main house. It’s an intimate place where love and attention to detail shine through in hosting guests. Excellent menu, based on white truffle! Many courses, including homemade tagliolini, delicious! A typical Piedmontese dessert, the Bonèt, was out of this world! Accompanied by an excellent local wine. Thank you Cinzia, beautiful experience!

Beekeeper for a day at Cinzia's house in Merana. What an amazing day we had 😍 Perfect weather, welcomed at this farmhouse by Cinzia with coffee and biscuits, then learning about the bees, entering their world on tiptoe.... then from some apiaries we got a small jar of 🍯 so good😋 Wonderful lunch outdoors, excellent food all based (obviously) on honey. You are welcomed wonderfully and feel like you are with family, so much so that when it was time to say goodbye, a little sadness was inevitable. Highly recommended experience.
