Cinzia, our Cesarina, welcomes us in a characteristic stone farm house - in the village of Merana between the Langa Astigiana and Monferrato - in a valley surrounded by hills and gullies with ‘a lunar aspect’.A love for authentic cuisine, fruit and vegetables from the garden, wine from local producers and honey from her hard-working bees are the basis of her menus. Cinzia and her mother in law were fantastic hosts. I had made pasta before but learned so much from them. The dinner was fantastic they went above and beyond we had multiple courses two different kinds of pasta and a fabulous dessert. It was very generous of them to invite me into their home. I really had a fantastic time and I would encourage anybody who is interested in this type of experience to book with Cinzia! - March 2025
