    Embark on a walk to savor the intoxicating scents of lavender, a short distance from our farmhouse. You'll have the opportunity to gather a bouquet of fragrant flowers or individual blossoms to tuck into a fabric pouch, an aromatic souvenir to bring with you and use in drawers to spread a delicate aroma throughout your wardrobe.

    In a Cesarina's home, lavender can also transform into the main ingredient of a special menu:

    • Fresh lavender-flavored goat cheese, accompanied by local cured meats and fried bread
    • Risotto with lavender, creamed with Roccaverano robiola cheese
    • Pork fillet in a lavender crust
    • Lavender ice cream

    Cinzia, our Cesarina, welcomes us in a characteristic stone farm house - in the village of Merana between the Langa Astigiana and Monferrato - in a valley surrounded by hills and gullies with ‘a lunar aspect’. A love for authentic cuisine, fruit and vegetables from the garden, wine from local producers and honey from her hard-working bees are the basis of her menus. "a culinary experience at my house will give you a taste of the simple and genuine flavors of Piedmontese cuisine."
