Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Experience something unique and become a beekeeper for a day!
This is a unique way to understand the beauty and importance of bees, especially for the younger generations. You'll learn about the queen bee and the worker bees, then we'll move on to the honey extraction phase, and finally, we'll use the honey to create traditional Piedmontese recipes. We'll start with an appetizer of fresh goat's cheese, made less than a kilometer from us, drizzled with honey and edible flowers. For the first course, we'll prepare tagliatelle pasta with walnut sauce and robiola cheese, garnished with Acacia honey. Next, we'll serve honey-marinated pork fillet with seasonal vegetables. To end on a sweet note, we'll have “black and white” dessert with walnuts and honey.

What an amazing day we had 😍 Perfect weather, welcomed at this farmhouse by Cinzia with coffee and biscuits, then learning about the bees, entering their world on tiptoe.... then from some apiaries we got a small jar of 🍯 so good😋 Wonderful lunch outdoors, excellent food all based (obviously) on honey. You are welcomed wonderfully and feel like you are with family, so much so that when it was time to say goodbye, a little sadness was inevitable. Highly recommended experience.
