I welcome you to my cosy stone farmhouse, located in the small village of Merana, between the Langa Astigiana and Monferrato regions; a place nestled in a valley surrounded by hills and ravines that look like something out of a lunar landscape. I look forward to welcoming you for a culinary experience that will allow you to savour the simplicity and authenticity of Piedmontese cuisine. One of the most beloved dishes of our tradition is 'Carpione', prepared according to the original family recipe. Onions, browned to perfection, and vinegar blend together to create a sweet and sour contrast that goes wonderfully with sage and aromatic herbs gathered in the surrounding fields. Served with a glass of chilled Prosecco, this dish becomes a real treat for the palate.
