Hi from Federica!

My name is Federica, and for over twenty years the sunlit city of Cagliari has welcomed me as one of its own. I come from a charming town in the heart of Sardinia, the daughter of a Planargian mother and an Ogliastran father—a perfect blend of traditions and cultures. Since childhood, I have nurtured a deep passion for the cuisine and culinary traditions of my land. I love preparing authentic dishes such as ravioli, panadas, and culurgiones—recipes that capture the flavors and history of my family. For me, cooking is a way to express my identity through aromas and tastes, sharing genuine and warm experiences.

We had a wonderful time attending the cooking class with Federica. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Federica welcomed us warmly into her space and made us feel at home from the beginning. Federica is a great teacher, and very generous with her knowledge about Sardinian food, you can really feel how passionate she is about it. We learned so much during the course and appreciated her detailed and insightful explanations. The hands-on experience was fantastic, and her patience and encouragement made the learning process enjoyable and rewarding. If you want to learn about Sardinian pasta Federica is the right person :-)

Our class was great Federica had a lot of patience with us, especially with learning the technique. She gave us great ideas about sauces to use for the pastas we made. It was very nice that she also had a welcome snack for us when we arrived. My only comment would be that it would be nice to have the recipes either printed out or available to email after the class. I did take good notes and she was very accommodating and repeating things but it would have been a little easier if I had it been provided as in other classes that I've taken in the past. Overall, we really enjoyed our time spent with her and appreciate her hospitality! We would highly recommend taking her classes.

My husband and two adult children and I all felt very welcomed into Federica's home. Very friendly, very fun cooking experience! Lots of laughter, loved being introduced to traditional Sardinian pastas. The experience of cooking together and dining together was a highlight of our trip!

Federica is an excellent instructor -- friendly, patient, and clear in her explanations. She is also a lovely person to spend a few hours with! Her apartment was easy to find, and there was plenty of room for the two of us to work. We really enjoyed making two different kinds of pasta, then sitting down to a lovely meal. (Federica also provided delicious appetizers and a refreshing dessert.) We wouldn't hesitate to book another class with Federica. The Cesarine program is great!
