How it works

You only choose the amount and the occasion. Everything else — which experience, in which city, with whom, when — is decided by whoever receives the gift.

2. Get the card by email

Our group of 3 had a wonderful time cooking at Mariella’s house. We each made a batch of pasta by hand, then turned it into lasagna, fettuccine, and ravioli. Mariella made everything easy to understand and learn. We enjoyed a feast for lunch at her beautifully set dinner table. Mariella was well-prepared and she perfectly paced the 3-hour class. We were treated like family. This cooking class was the highlight experience of our 2-week Mediterranean cruise vacation. Note: Mariella communicated with us in WhatsApp and she picked us up in her car near the cruise port. Her home is 20 min away from the cruise port.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like visiting old friends in their home. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed and full of laughter. We also learned a lot. Making fresh pasta and a real lasagna alla bolognese step by step was a joy, and we picked up many little tricks we’ll use at home. The lasagna was outstanding, and so was the tiramisu! The best part: we even took some lasagna home and enjoyed it again the next day. It was just as delicious.

We enjoyed a perfect day at Daniela’s beautiful home! When our GPS sent us to the wrong address, she miraculously tracked us down and welcomed us with wonderful Sicilian hospitality. We arrived as strangers and left as friends! Daniela taught us to make traditional Sicilian lemon gelo and treated us to espresso, Sicilian white wine, and a delicious homemade lunch featuring treasures from her enormous garden, followed by Modica chocolates and homemade impanatigghi. We enjoyed conversation on her patio overlooking her beautiful garden and lemon, olive, and walnut trees. We can’t wait to make lemon gelo for our family back home. This afternoon will be a highlight of our trip! Grazie di tutto, Daniela! ❤️
