Una ciudad de arte en la que se percibe la mezcla de diferentes historias y culturas, y una ciudad costera profundamente ligada a la tierra.Aquí encontramos la casa de nuestra Cesarina, Giulia, situada en el corazón de la ciudad. Su cocina respeta la tradición regional y familiar, aunque combinada de forma moderna, utilizando mucha pasión y técnicas que realzan las características de los ingredientes locales y de temporada.Giulia: «Para mí, la cocina no es un camino de juventud, sino más bien de madurez, cuando redescubrí los aromas de la infancia, las imágenes de las abuelas en la cocina, los aromas y sabores inconfundibles de dos mundos. Nací en Turín hace unos años, de madre mantovana y padre veneciano, y viví la cocina de mi abuela en Mantua, con el aroma de la calabaza y las manos en la masa, y la de Venecia, con la convivialidad de los cicchetti. Ambas tenían en común la polenta, aunque de diferentes colores, amarilla en Mantua y blanca en Venecia».

My sisters and I spent 8 days in various cities and our class with Gulia was the highlight of our trip! We had so much fun cooking with and learning from Gulia in her charming home. She was so kind and patient with sharing her recipes with us. It was an incredible experience that we will cherish forever!

We were two friends visiting Venice and booked a pasta and tiramisu class in Giulia's charming little kitchen. The atmosphere was personal and friendly. Being invited into Giulia's picturesque home, learning about her grandmother and family, practicing our limited knowledge of Italian language and hearing historic anecdotes, having tips on books to read and of course being guided to the art of home made pasta and tiramisu was a memory for life. Giulia was amazing: Warm, friendly, kind, great sense of humor and very sweet. So knowledgeable. Loved pizza, tiramisu and focaccia making time with her. So much fun and enjoyable. We are a family of four – father, mother, and two teenage daughters. We had a fantastic day in the company of Giulia. First, we went shopping together in various charming local stores and had some great conversations with the locals behind the counters. Then we cooked in Giulia’s apartment under her expert guidance. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the mood was high all day long. A big recommendation from us – now that we’re back home from our holiday, we’ve even invested in a pasta machine 🇮🇹😊
