: I honestly had high hopes for a great experience and they were met and superseded my already high expectations. Maria Daniella was incredibly friendly, competent, delicious food etc etc etc. The home was super beautiful very accessible and clean. The views were spectacular. So not only was it delicious food that we got to make mostly ourselves but we ate on her covered balcony and over looked Sicily. The entire family was so pleased and well worth it.
: Daniela is a wonderful hostess and ambassador for Messina. We had such a nice morning in the beautiful town of Messina. We enjoyed our time tasting specialties of the area and seeing the sites. Daniela is a lovely guide. We enjoyed her company and learning about the beautiful place she calls home.

: You cannot say you've been to Messina if you haven't been in Daniela's Kitchen. I've done several food tours around the World, but I have to say this experience was OUTSTANDING! Daniela brings you to one of the city markets where you can meet locals in their daily activities, taste local foods and experience what the real Messinese life looks like. You decide the menu, and what you are going to eat, with her while at the market, based on what the market has to offer that day. You'll go back to her house and cook your meal from start to end. You will enjoy your incredible meal with one of the best views of Messina, Daniela's terrace! GRAZIE DANIELA! Sei la migliore!!

A Messina ci sono tantissime cose da vedere: chiese, palazzi, fortificazioni, fontane, statue. Ma, per non fare un torto a questa città, è d’obbligo anche assaggiare i suoi piatti tipici. Dovete quindi conoscere i sapori e i profumi tipici di questa parte della Sicilia e, il posto migliore, è a casa della nostra Cesarina. Maria Daniela adora il mare e dal giardino della sua villa del 1913 potrete affacciarvi e godere di uno spettacolare scenario sullo stretto di Messina. La nostra Cesarina ama cucinare i piatti della tradizione: insieme a lei potrete imparare a fare i maccheroncini al ferro, la pasta fresca che si faceva tanti anni fa con il sugo, e le braciolettine di vitello alla messinese, che fin da bambina riempiva ed arrotolava, per aiutare la mamma e le sorelle in cucina.
