La città di La Spezia si trova quasi al confine tra Liguria e Toscana, rappresenta il punto di partenza ideale per visitare le splendide Cinque Terre e borghi caratteristici, come Lerici e Porto Venere.  Il mare di fronte alla città e le montagne alle spalle, è affascinante ammirarla dall'alto del castello di San Giorgio e gustarla attraverso i suoi piatti: un incontro tra terra e mare, evoluzione e sperimentazione. Alla tavola di Daniela sfilano le ricette della tradizione. La nostra Cesarina propone la classica cucina spezzina: il risultato della fusione di diverse tradizioni provenienti dalle regioni confinanti. I piatti di Daniela sono realizzati con ingredienti semplici, che mischiati tra loro danno vita a sapori forti e delicati al tempo stesso: come gli 'sgabei' - la pasta per il pane lievitata, tagliata a strisce, fritta, farcita con formaggi o affettati locali, i 'muscoli' (come vengono definite le cozze) in diverse versioni e, ovviamente, un must, il pesto.

Incredible food and host! I loved every minute.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at our pasta and tiramisu cooking lesson with Daniela. She explained and clearly demonstrated all the steps necessary to make fresh and delicious pasta and tiramisu. We had so much fun (and laughter) as we shared our homemade dinner together with Daniela and her husband. As a result of Daniela’s guidance, the dinner was delicious and our hands-on experience made it even better. Daniela was not only an excellent teacher and cook, but her bright and bubbly personality made us feel most welcome. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND sharing this experience with Daniela when you visit La Spezia. You’ll be glad you did!!!

I had a super special experience hosted by Daniela and her husband, in their home. She was extremely kind and welcoming, and made me feel right at home from the start. Learning recipes from her was so enjoyable. She's a natural teacher and a very open personality and I loved that I was also able to share my food and culture with her as well since it made the experience all the more interesting. I'll cherish our conversations and these memories forever! She was also kind enough to send me all the recipes, take pictures, and share her stories which really touched my heart. So grateful for all the delicious food and the hospitality! For me, this was my most wholesome day in La Spezia. Highly recommend :)

This cooking class was our highlight of this year‘s trip to Italy. Daniela and her husband are the nicest people and perfect hosts. You learn a lot, the food you prepare and the food Daniela prepares is amazing and it was such an impressive and wonderful experience - besides we were also very lucky with all the other participants who were so nice.I‘ve been telling everyone at home about this cooking class. I also love that you get all the recipes so you can try them at home - which I did today. My antipasti, gnocchi and pesto, which I had for dinner, were almost as good as those I prepared with Daniela. I will keep on trying 💪🏻. Thank you so much for erverything Daniela and Gianni
