La città di La Spezia si trova quasi al confine tra Liguria e Toscana, rappresenta il punto di partenza ideale per visitare le splendide Cinque Terre e borghi caratteristici, come Lerici e Porto Venere.  Il mare di fronte alla città e le montagne alle spalle, è affascinante ammirarla dall'alto del castello di San Giorgio e gustarla attraverso i suoi piatti: un incontro tra terra e mare, evoluzione e sperimentazione. Alla tavola di Daniela sfilano le ricette della tradizione. La nostra Cesarina propone la classica cucina spezzina: il risultato della fusione di diverse tradizioni provenienti dalle regioni confinanti. I piatti di Daniela sono realizzati con ingredienti semplici, che mischiati tra loro danno vita a sapori forti e delicati al tempo stesso: come gli 'sgabei' - la pasta per il pane lievitata, tagliata a strisce, fritta, farcita con formaggi o affettati locali, i 'muscoli' (come vengono definite le cozze) in diverse versioni e, ovviamente, un must, il pesto.

Best experience with the sweetest Daniela she was so kind to my husband and I on our honeymoon. In our class she taught us how to make gnocchi and tiramisu! Sharing her recipes and her story while cooking. Highly recommend to anyone coming to La Spezia for a visit.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience - this is what you need to do! We hade a great time with Daniela and her husband. They were so nice and friendly and made us feel right at home from the start. We made so much good food and learned a lot of things we will take right back home to our own kitchen. You will get to enjoy good food, good company and have a great time. Daniela is such a warm and nice person who takes time to explain and show everything to you. She had prepared really nice fresh ingredients that were a joy to cook with. This is an experience we will remember forever! Thank you so much for making our birthday celebration special!

True Italian Hospitality We booked this experience on our first day to Cinque Terre and it was truly a wonderful welcome to the area. Daniela and her husband were excellent hosts and taught us how to make Sgabei, Tiramisu, and Gnocchi in their cozy home. The food was delicious and the sides paired incredibly well with the dishes we made. We were provided generous portions of tasty food and wine, and enjoyed chatting with Daniela and her husband about life in Cinque Terre. It was truly a heartwarming experience and a great welcome to Italy. Highly recommend for those wishing to experience a slice of home life in Italy and learn delicious recipes. Do come with an empty stomach as you wouldn’t want skimp on any of the food!

Daniela was wonderful! This was such a unique experience and one of our most favorite things we did in all of Italy. Daniela was so welcoming and kind and explained each dish thoroughly while showing us and then letting us make the food ourselves. It will be so special to bring the recipes back home and be able to recreate them again ourselves for years to come. And if we end up coming back to Italy soon, we are absolutely bringing our family to a class with Daniela next time!

We had an absolutely fabulous time with out cooking lesson with Daniela. She and her husband made us feel right at home in their beautiful house. We learned how to make Sgabei, gnocchi, and tiramisu. Daniela also shared wine from her friend's vineyard and gave us her recipe to make limoncello. Daniela explained everything clearly through the demonstrations. We had so much fun as we shared our homemade lunch together with Daniela and her husband. Daniela was not only an excellent teacher and cook, but her bright and bubbly personality made us feel most welcome. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND sharing this experience with Daniela when you visit La Spezia. You’ll be glad you did!!!
