We had a wonderful pesto and gnocchi cooking experience with Barbara and Stefano! It was a pleasure to get to learn how to prepare pesto alla genovese, gnocchi, and a delicious tiramisu dessert the Lingurian way, as well as taste homemade minestrone (perfect in the rain and cold) and the best bruschetta I've ever had (that Stefano demonstrated how to make for us). We were also grateful that they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions - including my friend who is a celiac (no gluten) and neither of us drinking alcohol. Barbara is a very knowledgeable about food and was able to accommodate all these things seamlessly, and we loved experiencing her passion and energy. It was wonderful to learn about her and Stefano's long histories and connections with food (and each other) and to see the beautiful teaching kitchen that they have built high on the hill above Riomaggiore. My one head's up for anyone with mobility issues is that the kitchen and vineyard are up or down quite a steep path (especially if there has been lots of rain, like on our visit). All in all my friend and I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to others!

Barbara and Stefano were great hosts who made us feel right at home and had us laughing all night. Barbara was very knowledgeable when it came to making bruschetta, tiramisu and pasta. Everything we made and tasted was delicious!! They catered for gluten intolerance so well. The only feedback I would give is more wine! We had one glass with dinner as well as a pre-dinner aperol spritz, but it would’ve been nice to have some wine as we were cooking and waiting for our food.

We will NEVER forget this experience of cooking a fantastic traditional Italian meal in the gorgeous setting of this home. Our small group of 8 from 4 different countries learned pasta, Turkish, bruschetta abs frittata I’m a relaxed comfortable place with gorgeous views of the sea and love farm. We treasure our time as part of our first Italian vacation. Our hosts were outstanding on every level.
