Ciao da Roberta!

"Sono cresciuta in una casa dove ogni domenica, feste o ricorrenza erano un'occasione per riunire la famiglia e gli amici. La passione per la cucina mi è stata trasmessa da mia madre e poi da mia suocera, nativa di Riomaggiore, che mi ha guidato nella preparazione di torte salate della nostra tradizione. Ultimo, ma solo in ordine di tempo, il mio maestro Enzo, il fornaio che era il braccio e mente del panificio che ho gestito per 15 anni, al quale ho 'rubato' tutto ciò che si deve sapere su pane, focacce, lievitati..."

: Roberta was helpful with directions to her home. So kind of our being late because of train issues. Roberta and her friends were so gracious. The food was beyond what we expected.
: Absolutely amazing experience cooking at Roberta ‘s house. She welcomed us into her home as if we were part of the family and taught us how to make Gnocci, tiramisu & Sgabei (a delicious fried bread). We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Italian experience, it was a real highlight of our trip.
: Roberta & Ricardo are lovely, welcoming hosts. Roberta's cooking is divine. She patiently answered our many questions - and she customized for preferences in our group. Her lasagna is perhaps the best thing we've eaten after a week in Italy. One minor consideration: their beautiful home is a little outside of La Spezia and taxis can be tricky. Highly recommend dining with Cesarine!
