Ich liebe es zu kochen und über die typischen Gerichte meiner Heimat Lucca zu erzählen. Ich versuche, die überlieferten Rezepte auch in Bezug auf die Zubereitungstechniken und -zeiten zu respektieren, damit der Geschmack und der Duft evokativ werden. Ich bewirtschafte einen Gemüsegarten, weil meiner Meinung nach der Erfolg eines Gerichts auch von der Sorgfalt und Geduld abhängt, mit der man das Gemüse wachsen sieht, das man verwenden wird, was zu einem großen Respekt vor den Rohstoffen führt.

- I have booked classes with the Cesarine program for my clients but this was the first time that I have experienced it for myself. It was incredible! You will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience for sure.
- Assunta was fun and welcoming. She shared a brief tour of the Lucca markets including some historical information before traveling to her home to cook. The meal was delicious and Assunta has an obvious passion for preserving recipes and techniques that were handed down to her. Warmth and humor were abundant. We had an overall wonderful experience and would highly recommend
- This was such an amazing experience. Assunta and her husband were so incredibly welcoming to our group. The food we made honestly was the best we had on our trip. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We are so grateful for these memories!
- If I could give 10 stars we would! This was the best time out of everything we did in Italy! Our group of 7 were unanimous that everything about this day was great! Now on to the Host, we loved them! We felt at home the moment we arrived. This could not have been better. We felt like family immediately. But I need help, I received the email with the recipes and I can't find the email now. Can you please reach out to them and have them sent again. Please?
- Assunta and Leticia were a delight. We enjoyed visiting the market and being in their home. The meeting place was difficult to find and should be in more of a landmark place rather than a street address where we interrupted people in their home. Although the meal was good we did not feel that they took into consideration that there was only two of us so they was a great excess of food that was prepared unnecessarily. We did not receive the menus of food prepared. We feel that the price we paid was excessive and should have been in keeping with food to serve only the two of us, and Assunta and Leticia. Overall it was a nice experience but one that we would not recommend due to the price vs value.
