Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Bruschetta with typical products
  • Ravioli or Tagliatelle
  • Tiramisu

Live a memorable day in the countryside with a farm tour and discover the secrets of rural life. We'll start by exploring the farm and meeting the animals, making this a perfect activity for families and children. You'll taste local specialties such as artisanal cheeses, salami, and honey. After the tour, we’ll return to my home for a traditional cooking class, where I’ll guide you step by step: we’ll prepare a bruschetta with typical local ingredients as a starter, followed by a handmade fresh pasta dish—like ravioli or tagliatelle—with a seasonal sauce, and finish with tiramisù, a classic dessert of Italian cuisine. A special opportunity to rediscover genuine flavors and create new memories together.

Our Cesarine experience with Patrizia Simoni in Bellano was excellent. She is a warm person. Patiently helped addres our many questions. Can't wait to go home and try out what we learnt from her!

Patrizia and Luca were amazing hosts! First she helped us find a driver to her house which was all the way up the mountain with stunning views of the lake! Luca made us feel right at home and poured us a glass of red wine immediately! We made tiramisu and two different types of pastas. This was definitely a highlight of our honeymoon and I would recommend this cooking class to everyone! The food, the wine, and the conversation was amazing! Thank you so much Patrizia and Luca, we hope to see you again soon!

A great authentic experience, my family loved it. Patrizia and her husband Luca, we re very pleasant and hospitable and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and my 10yr old daughter beamed at being able to make the pasta from scratch. We did not get to interact much with the animals on the farm (but due to no fault of theirs, as a naughty goat had broken out its gate that evening so it was not safe to go in the barn), it would have been nice to experience more of what ‘a day on the farm’ is like and the processes there, but the pasta and tiramisu made up for the experience. The appetizers, cheese and salami and accompanying wine were also delicious and a nice touch. We were staying a ways an away so it was a bit of a process to get there but my husband mentioned it was definitely worth the trip. Thanks Patrizia and Luca for making our family vacation memorable. I highly recommend the cooking experience.

I would recommend this to anyone who will listen. This was the best thing we did in our time at Lake Como. My wife and I enjoyed learning to make two pasta dishes from scratch as wells as tiramisu, it was all as delish as it was fun to make. The views from Patrizia’s house are second to none. Jaw dropping views of the sunset. All said, thank you Patrizia for making this so memorable and fun!

We had a wonderful cooking class with Patrizia! Her home and kitchen are beautiful, and in a truly stunning location. She showed us how to make two kinds of pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. It was all delicious and so much fun to make, and she is a warm and lovely host. I highly recommend this experience!

"My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."
