Patrizia

"My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."

Me and my fiance had the best time at Patrizia and Luka’s house. They are so warm and welcoming, house is enchanting and our time was spent with good food and good conversation. She made it seem so easy and we cannot wait to take these recipes back and try them at home. I highly recommend this cooking class to any and every one! Not to mention the amazing view we had for lunch in their garden.

That was the best cooking class I have ever been to. Patrizia made us feel so welcome and the cooking experience was authentic and incredible. We were hands on throughout the cooking process and sat down to a perfect meal (with a perfect view) at the end. Grazie Patrizia!

The cooking experience at Patrizia’s was a dream come true! She and her husband Luca are so warm and welcoming and we had the best day learning how to make Tortelloni, Fetucinne and Tiramisu! It was absolutely delicious. Patrizia is so hospitable and kind and we will remember this day forever! Truly couldn’t recommend enough!

My best friend and I absolutely loved this pasta & tiramisu class and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Como. Patrizia and her husband Luca made us feel welcome from the first minute and created such a warm, friendly atmosphere that we immediately felt at home in their beautiful house. We were a small group of six people, which made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. Together with Patrizia we learned how to make Tiramisu, Tagliatelle and Tortelloni from scratch. While we were cooking, Luca kept everyone entertained with great conversations, lots of humor and of course wine, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Afterwards we enjoyed the meal we had prepared together outside with a breathtaking view over Lake Como. The setting was simply amazing. Everything felt authentic, warm and personal – much more than just a cooking class. We had so much fun and created wonderful memories. Thank you again, Patrizia and Luca, for such a special evening! We would do it again anytime.
