Hi from Patrizia!

"My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."

The cooking class with Patrizia and her husband, Luca, was one of the highlights of our trip to Bellano and Lake Como! They were both so gracious and welcoming and the views from their home were truly stunning. The class itself was also incredible as was the meal once we sat down to taste our creations! Patrizia even shared the recipes with us and we can't wait to try them at home ourselves. We will definitely look fondly on this experience for years to come! Thank you Patrizia and Luca!

The Pasta and Tiramisu cooking class with Patricia was truly the most memorable experience of our holiday at Lago Di Como. Patricia is a master cook, but also an extremely talented artist, and kind woman. Even one year after the experience, I still think about it and write this review. Since our cooking class, I baked more than 30 Tiramisus as we learned from Patricia and all of my family and work colleagues love it! The house is authentic, traditional, modernised, cozy and has a spectacular view over Lago Di Como. This is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been to in my life. As soon as I am back, I will immediately book another class with Patricia.

We had lovely, memorable time with Patrizia and her husband. It was exactly what I was dreaming of when I looked for a tour combined with a hands-on cooking class. The location, the atmosphere, the friendliness, the tastes and generosity - everything was 5 stars and more. I hope we will be able to come again to Patrizia's house next year !!! Highly recommend !

We chose this cooking class as a special honeymoon activity during our first trip to Italy, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, Patrizia and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful home with warmth and genuine hospitality. They guided us through making two types of fresh pasta from scratch, followed by a heavenly tiramisu—every step filled with fun, laughter, and authentic Italian charm. It was not just a class, but a true cultural experience we’ll never forget. If you’re in the area, do not miss this—it’s an absolute must. Thank you, both again for a magical evening!
