  • Green and Golden Tagliatelle with Classic Bolognese Sauce

I look forward to welcoming you into my home and sharing with you the art of handmade pasta. Together we will prepare spinach tagliatelle, known in Italy as tagliatelle paglia e fieno, a delicious combination of colors and flavors. We will dress them with a fresh sauce of cherry tomatoes and basil, enhanced by a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese to enhance the flavor.

After the pasta, we will turn our attention to creating a traditional dessert to end on a high note. Finally, we will sit in the garden to enjoy all that we have cooked together, enjoying the food, the company and the atmosphere. It will be a pleasure to meet you and share this authentic culinary experience with you!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Patrizia welcomed us to her beautiful home with the most stunning views. She showed us how to make a perfect tiramisu, followed by making fresh tagliatelle and tortellini. Patrizia set up a table outside in her garden, looking over the scenic views where we enjoyed the food we made. One of our favourite experiences from our trip to Lake Como and definitely something I’d recommend to anyone visiting.

Our group cooking class actually turned out to be a private cooking experience for our honeymoon with Patrizia and Luca! We had a blast learning to make Tiramisu from scratch and making homemade pasta of multiple varieties! We were also able to learn so much from them asking just about any question we had about Italy and Lake Como we could think of + perhaps we taught them a thing or two! We truly did not want to leave at the end because we had so much fun chatting. Oh, and the food was awesome! Wine, meat, cheese, homemade focaccia, tortelloni, tagatelli, tiramisu are surely to leave you feeling satisfied! Would love to do it again and will recommend this to any friends or family that visit Como! Truly an authentic Italian cooking experience!

This was an amazing experience!!! "My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."
