Together we will prepare delicious dishes, inspired by authentic local traditional recipes. We will use freshly picked vegetables from my garden and the best produce from local farms. We will have a unique culinary experience cooking together while enjoying a fine glass of wine and admiring a wonderful view of the lake.

Amazing class! Patrizia and her husband were so hospitable and wonderful, and we made the most delicious pastas and tiramisu. My husband is the chef of the family and they were both so patient with all of the questions he was asking throughout the class :). Also, a bonus is that their house has a beautiful view of Lake Como! Would definitely recommend this cooking class and have referred Patrizia to a few friends who will be in Italy this summer.

Not only did we learn how to prepare traditional Italian dishes, but we also got a deeper understanding of the local culture and the passion behind the cuisine. The cooking experience was amazing from start to finish. The cooking lesson left us inspired to replicate everything when we get home, the food was delicious. Our hosts Patrizia and Luca welcomed us in their home, immersed us in their rich, joyous culture and left us truly thankful for the privilege of spending an entire afternoon with them, enhanced by their local roots, a lovely sharing of local wines and spirits, and catering to our dietary needs. "My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."
