After a tour of the colourful stalls at the local market, with tastings of typical Sicilian specialities, I will welcome you to my home, just a short walk away, and immerse you in the aromas and flavours of Catania’s culinary traditions.
Together we will prepare a main course and a dessert, and I will reveal their stories and secrets to you. After an aperitif with Etna wine and local produce, we will enjoy the dishes we have prepared together (on the terrace, weather permitting). A journey into the heart of Sicilian culture and cuisine!

- It was such a beautiful experience. Was made to feel so welcome. We learnt a lot from our lovely host Renata. Will definitely love to see her again for another class when we are next in catania.

- Renata was amazing! She was so welcoming and a great cook! We did pasta alla norma being that we visited in summer. Great host, amazing cook and we had a great conversation. We felt like we were at home. Truly an amazing experience if you want to do something different but through a very local feel like experience.
- We felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived! We got to cook two delicious pasta dishes and tiramisu, were offered wine and water, and were warmly guided throughout the entire experience. Whenever we were unsure about something, she was immediately there to help. On top of that, she gave us fantastic recommendations for local sights and shared some amazing insider tips and hidden gems that made our trip even more special. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal together, accompanied by great conversations, which made the whole experience feel so warm, personal, and welcoming. We truly felt at home. It was an all-around wonderful experience and worth every single cent. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable cooking experience! Thank you Renata! <3
