After a tour of the colourful stalls at the local market, with tastings of typical Sicilian specialities, I will welcome you to my home, just a short walk away, and immerse you in the aromas and flavours of Catania’s culinary traditions.
Together we will prepare a main course and a dessert, and I will reveal their stories and secrets to you. After an aperitif with Etna wine and local produce, we will enjoy the dishes we have prepared together (on the terrace, weather permitting). A journey into the heart of Sicilian culture and cuisine!

- What a wonderful experience in Catania! Our cooking class was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Renata’s was incredibly welcoming, friendly and passionate about Italian cuisine. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, sharing her knowledge, traditions and cooking tips. We learned how to prepare delicious homemade ravioli with ricotta, pasta all’Eoliana and tiramisu. Everything was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious! What made this experience truly special was the warm hospitality and personal touch. It felt less like a cooking class and more like spending an afternoon cooking with an Italian friend. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic Sicilian experience. Grazie mille for such a beautiful memory!

- Renata was an amazing hostess and chef. We made 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu. Not only did we enjoy the delicious food but we enjoyed her company even more. We feel like she was a long time friend. We highly recommend Renata’s cooking experience. Ciao!
- This was the best experience I could have asked for in Sicily! Renata was so friendly and such a delight to spend the day with. She welcomed us into her home as if we were family, and made sure we were comfortable and happy the entire visit. Her house was absolutely beautiful, she gave us the full tour including her rooftop that had amazing views of the city. The food itself was incredible as well, we had a blast learning how to make different types of pasta and authentic sauces as well, including explanations of each ingredient along the way. After everything was prepped, she had her terrace setup up to relax with wine and appetizers while she cooked the pastas we made. Overall 10/10, I would return to Sicily just for Renata!
