This experience includes a tour with three tastings of local products. We will start with a fresh orange juice (depending on the season) or a glass of wine from a local winery. You will savor the famous Sicilian "rustici," such as arancini, cipolline, and cartocciate, followed by a delicious granita with brioche. All of this will take place in authentic locations, away from the usual tourist paths, in the wonderful setting of the historic center of Catania, where I will show you all its unique features.

- Maorizio is an interesting fellow, a mudician and cook. We had a very nice experience cooking with him two vegetable appetizers, and a special recepy of pork loin that he created. Everythibg was very tasety, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
- We had a wonderful day of cooking with Maurizio. He involved all four us and cooking from scratch made eating it so much more enjoyable, especially for the kids, who even ate eggplant! Maurizio was patient, humourous and welcoming throughout and it was a great family bonding experience in Catania.
- This experience was more than awesome. Maurizio showed us how to prepare 2 kind of pasta and tiramisu and in my opinion all of them were bests meals we ate in Catania! I love Maurizio's sense of humour and his stories. This is something we will remember for a long time. Maurizio speaks English very well so there were no language barrier. Definitely I would recommend him and for sure do it again. Grazie Maurizio!!

Cesarina from 2023Location: Catania Languages: Italian and EnglishMy main expertise lies in pasta dishes, but I don't underestimate the importance of velvety soups and meat and fish entrees. My culinary creations draw inspiration from traditional Sicilian and Calabrian recipes, reinterpreted with a modern twist. I prefer using local ingredients, so-called "zero kilometer" products, to create a unique harmony that enhances the authentic colors, fragrances, and flavors of our region. I invite you to try a pasta dish seasoned with my almond and basil pesto, or an intriguing pistachio and sun-dried tomato pesto. I also offer delightful options made with red tuna and mint; pork or beef fillet enriched with vintage vinegar and white onion cream; potato meatloaf embellished with red tuna and capers. And to sweetly conclude, I propose traditional desserts made with ricotta or pistachio cream, among many other delicacies.
