Renata

My name is Renata and my love for cooking comes from a long family tradition that I have always carried forward with pride and passion. I run a bistrot-pizzeria in the city center, where I take care of organization and menu creation, always aiming to combine flavor, authenticity, and creativity.I enjoy meeting new people and sharing with them what I love most: cooking as a moment of connection and togetherness. That is why I have also chosen to open the doors of my home, just a few steps from the market, a lively place full of inspiration. Here I love welcoming my guests to cook together, have fun among aromas and authentic flavors, and then enjoy the traditional dishes of my homeland in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

We felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived! We got to cook two delicious pasta dishes and tiramisu, were offered wine and water, and were warmly guided throughout the entire experience. Whenever we were unsure about something, she was immediately there to help. On top of that, she gave us fantastic recommendations for local sights and shared some amazing insider tips and hidden gems that made our trip even more special. We also enjoyed a wonderful meal together, accompanied by great conversations, which made the whole experience feel so warm, personal, and welcoming. We truly felt at home. It was an all-around wonderful experience and worth every single cent. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable cooking experience! Thank you Renata! <3

Renata was a fantastic host who I highly recommend. She taught my friend and I while we were in Catania. She made us feel very welcome and the course was very hands on. I've been cooking the pasta and turimusu Renata taught us notes in back home in Australia.

Renata, a wonderful host, invited us into her home to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. She graciously taught us the art of making delectable desserts and pasta, including the classic tiramisu, the creamy ricotta ravioli, and the vibrant tomato almond pesto. To complement our culinary journey, she provided us with an array of appetizing appetizers and a selection of exquisite wines. We enjoyed our lunch on her roof top terrace with new friends and memories we won’t forget.

Renata welcomed us into her home and kitchen. She was patient, supportive and detailed oriented. She shared some tips and tricks with us which will help used in the future when I make the recipe at my home. She was gracious, hospitable, and warming. I highly recommend this as an activity if you come to Catania.

We booked a full cooking class in Catania with Renata. In all honesty, we had an amazing experience! It was incredibly fun, interesting, and, of course, absolutely delicious. Renata was wonderful, so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We learned a lot, had a great time, and the food we made was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and authentic cooking experience. 10/10 – highly recommended!
