- The moment we spent with Giampatrizia was absolutely unique! I booked this class as a surprise for one of my best friends the days before, and it was a perfect mix of authenticity, learning and eating. Giampa was flexible on the hour (as we were running a bit late) and made us discover Sicilian cuisine in the best possible way. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience!
- An unforgettable culinary experience in Sicily! We were lucky to enjoy a very private cooking class – just my partner and me. The kitchen and table were set up with incredible attention to detail. From the very beginning, we felt right at home thanks to the warm welcome from Giampatrizia and her husband. Later, their daughter and son-in-law joined us, and everyone made us feel like part of the family. We prepared classic Sicilian dishes together: pasta with sardines, caponata, delicious cheese-stuffed meat rolls, and for dessert, a pudding with orange zest. Everything was made with fresh, seasonal ingredients – including olive oil from their own olive tree, which made the experience even more authentic. Their garden was so beautiful, and the atmosphere was just perfect. By the end of the class, we were not only more than full but also incredibly happy. It was an unforgettable insight into Sicilian culture and cuisine, and already recommended to friends who will come to Catania and other people we met on our trip!

As a family with celiac disease, it was important that the food was safely prepared in a gluten-free environment, and our host exceeded our expectations in this regard. We enjoyed every bite, knowing it was both safe and delicious. - Fantastic host!!! What a wonderful dinner we had, Pasta alla Norma was a hit and so was the dessert. Mrs. Giampatrizia was very accommodating (we were late) and flexible. She received us with welcome arms. Her family is fantastic, treated us like if we were part of their family also. We will definitely be returning and will get there on time this time 😂!
