You will take a fascinating journey through Sicilian culture and its food. We will use only fresh, seasonal ingredients and all dishes will be based on the most important and traditional Sicilian recipes. You will learn the secrets of one of the most renowned cuisines in Italy, strongly influenced by conquerors and their different cultures (Spanish, Greeks, Arabs). Pasta alla norma, pasta with sardines, pasta c'anciova (sauces with homemade pasta prepared by us) or the famous Sicilian baked pasta (as a unique dish because of its presence, of meat eggs and cheese inside) or sarde a beccafico, meat rolls, seasoned sausage, sausage with vegetables ,caponata, sweet and sour pumpkin, grandmother's salad ,eggplant with pecorino cheese ,spoon desserts. Your choice.

- Io, mia mamma e mia zia siamo state a dicembre a casa della signora Giampatrizia e ci siamo sentite subito come parte della famiglia! Giampatrizia è una persona empatica e gentilissima, sempre attenta e disponibile. Tra risate, chiacchiere e consigli preziosi, abbiamo cucinato scacciate, pasta fresca e biancomangiare e ogni piatto era delizioso. L’atmosfera è calda, accogliente e divertente: un’esperienza autentica che rende speciale la cucina siciliana e che ricorderemo con tanto affetto. Assolutamente da provare!
- Giampatrizia is a wonderful teacher. She welcomed my sister and I into her home, and taught us how to cook numerous traditional Sicilian desserts. I would recommend her to novice cooks and seasoned bakers alike. She also provided a translator, who was equally excellent.
- We loved our time spent cooking in Giampatrizia’s home! She was so welcoming and everything was so delicious. To be able to experience something like that far away from home really made me and my sister’s Christmas very special! Thank you so much for the time spent teaching us!
- We had a wonderful experience learning how to make homemade pasta and Pasta Norma. Giampatrizia was wonderful and we learned so much. After we finished cooking, we sat down with her and her family and enjoyed our meal and learning about them and their culture.
- Giampatrizia is all you could imagine an Italian mama would be like. A good cook that controls the kitchen with lots of passion and warmness. She invited us into her cozy home and gave us and unforgettable evening. Also thanks to her husband and Stefania. We were a family of five and Giampatrizias cooking class was the highlight of our holiday in Sicily. We could feel this was not just ‘another day at the office’, but something she did because she lovede it.

With no limit on guests, I've hosted gatherings in my garden with abundant food, good music, and carefully curated setups. The Christmas dinners for my banking team were always well-received, with a focus on table arrangements and dish presentation. Beyond Sicilian tradition, I enjoy experimenting with international dishes. My hobbies include crafting jams from my orchard's fruits, making homemade liqueurs, and various preserves."
