Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

We will prepare three types of fresh pasta together, seasoned with local ingredients and inspired by Sicilian traditions. I will reveal all the tricks: we will knead both with wheat flour and eggs and with durum wheat and water. We will make tasty recipes using quality raw materials, all with joy and accompanied by a good glass of Etna wine. We will end the experience by tasting together the dishes we will have created.

Our multi-generational group had an incredible time learning the art of authentic pasta making. The host was exceptionally engaging, making the experience fun and accessible for every age level. We laughed throughout the class and ended the day by eating a truly delicious, hand-crafted meal. If you want to eat well and have a blast in Sicily, don't miss this

I recently took a Sicilian cooking class and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My large group (11 of us) had an amazing experience with Chef Rosario. We learned how to prepare several traditional dishes, including a delicious pasta alla Norma, using fresh, local ingredients. The chef was fun, engaging, and clearly very knowledgeable, sharing tips and techniques that brought the recipes to life. What really stood out was how hands-on the class was—we weren’t just watching, but actively cooking every step of the way. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to ask questions and enjoy the process. By the end, not only did we have a great meal, but I also felt confident I could recreate these dishes at home. Highly recommended for anyone interested in authentic Sicilian cuisine.

A wonderful experience! My mother and I participated in a fresh pasta cooking class and it was a fun, relaxing, and flavorful afternoon. Our Cesarino guided us with kindness and expertise, making us feel at home while we learned new techniques. We returned with recipes, smiles, and a beautiful shared memory. Highly recommended! ❤️

Between the Ionian coast and the slopes of Etna we meet Rosario. At the table of our Cesarino we can taste genuine products, of his territory and above all at km 0. His is a culinary art that follows tradition, thanks to the secrets and recipes inherited from his family, with particular dedication to seafood, having lived for a few years in the seaside village of Capo Mulini.
