A fabulous afternoon with Giampatrizia learning about Sicilian culture and food. We made some delicious dishes that were easy to prepare and will definitely make them at home. Giampatrizia was very welcoming and provided great tips and feedback so we can perfect the dishes at home. It was a pleasure to spend time with her 😊😊😊

My friend and I are both foodies and love to explore the local cuisines. During our recent trip to Catania, we booked a cooking class with Giampatrizia and it was amazing. She taught us a whole variety of vegetarian dishes special to the region while explaining the specifics: pasta a la norma, Cipollina, caponata con couscous and so much more. It was one of the highlights of my entire trip.

Giampatrizia led a wonderful cooking class for our family. She was warm, clear, and incredibly thoughtful: reaching out in advance to confirm the menu, tailor options for our children, and ask about language preferences. She even arranged for a delightful colleague to help translate, which made everything seamless. Her kitchen is beautiful and perfectly suited for teaching. She skillfully guided all of us, across varying levels, in making busiate pasta and deepening our understanding of Sicilian cuisine. Our kids loved it so much and were fully engaged the entire time. The added touches (extra dishes and thoughtful details) made the experience feel truly special. It was more than a class; it felt like being welcomed into her home. We highly recommend her, especially for families looking to connect with food and learn something delicious to recreate at home

Friendly chef, very delicious sicilian food, nice host. Her niece translated from italian to english, so the cooking class also works for non italian speekers. The home made pasta (busiate) was excellent. We had a nice evening!

My mom, my aunt, and I stayed at Mrs. Giampatrizia’s house in December and immediately felt like part of the family! Giampatrizia is an empathetic and very kind person, always attentive and available. Between laughter, chatter, and valuable advice, we cooked scacciate, fresh pasta, and biancomangiare, and every dish was delicious. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and fun: an authentic experience that makes Sicilian cuisine special and that we will remember with great affection. Absolutely worth trying!

My kitchen embodies the rich Sicilian tradition passed down through generations, adapted to cater to various dietary needs, including gluten-free cuisine. With no limit on guests, I've hosted gatherings in my garden with abundant food, good music, and carefully curated setups. The Christmas dinners for my banking team were always well-received, with a focus on table arrangements and dish presentation. Beyond Sicilian tradition, I enjoy experimenting with international dishes. My hobbies include crafting jams from my orchard's fruits, making homemade liqueurs, and various preserves."
