We booked a full cooking class in Catania with Renata. In all honesty, we had an amazing experience! It was incredibly fun, interesting, and, of course, absolutely delicious. Renata was wonderful, so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She explained everything clearly and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We learned a lot, had a great time, and the food we made was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun and authentic cooking experience. 10/10 – highly recommended!

Renata was a gracious host and the food and wine were fabulous! Her home is lovely with beautiful gardens. She is warm and engaging. I could not have had a better experience. I have made the fennel pasta she made since I got home. I loved it. I helped her to make steak braciole and it was delicious.

The cooking classes with Renata were a culinary enrichment, and not just for the palate. Renata put in a great deal of effort and was very accommodating regarding gluten intolerance, making all the recipes gluten-free. Her apartment is beautiful, and you feel instantly at home. Her terrace looks directly onto Mount Etna and is decorated with many lovely plants. You are welcome to visit her on Instagram at la__cucinotta. Have lots of fun cooking with Renata; she puts a lot of heart into it. :)

My name is Renata and my love for cooking comes from a long family tradition that I have always carried forward with pride and passion. I run a bistrot-pizzeria in the city center, where I take care of organization and menu creation, always aiming to combine flavor, authenticity, and creativity. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing with them what I love most: cooking as a moment of connection and togetherness. That is why I have also chosen to open the doors of my home, just a few steps from the market, a lively place full of inspiration. Here I love welcoming my guests to cook together, have fun among aromas and authentic flavors, and then enjoy the traditional dishes of my homeland in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
