Food and wine tour in the historic Fera o Luni market in Catania, the most important market, once open only on Mondays. Guests will be welcomed at the main office with an aperitif before being accompanied among the stalls to discover and, if desired, taste local delicacies. On your return, you can cook Pasta alla Norma together or, on request, another traditional dish from Catania, which you can then enjoy with Etna wines. The tour lasts about 3 hours, during which guests will be guided step by step, learning interesting facts and secrets about typical recipes from Catania.

Cesarina from 2025Location: Catania (CT) Languages: Italian and EnglishI offer authentic Sicilian cuisine, made of traditional Catanese dishes and recipes from our land: from arancini to squid ink pasta, from Montalbano-style pasta ‘ncasciata to Palermo-style anelletti, including caponata, pasta alla Norma, meat rolls, and sarde a beccafico. To finish on a fresh note, I also prepare an orange and fennel salad, simple and fragrant, just as tradition dictates.
