In this fascinating cooking class, held in my cozy home in Lavagna, we will immerse ourselves in the preparation of three irresistible recipes. To begin, I will enthusiastically share the secrets of making delicious testaieu al pesto quickly and easily. Next, we will turn our attention to making the classic Ligurian pasta, Corzetti, accompanied by a fine sauce of pine nuts and marjoram. In addition, you will have the privilege of discovering our treasured family recipe for tiramisu. We will conclude this unique culinary experience by sitting down to enjoy the freshly prepared dishes together, all paired with excellent Ligurian wine. I look forward to sharing this authentic and convivial gastronomic adventure with you.

- This was a highlight of our trip. We were welcomed into Ivan’s home and felt instantly at home. Between the fantastic wine, food, friendly dog and engaging conversation it felt as though we were going to a friends house for dinner. We learnt about traditional customs and food from the area and also received great tips for things to try and do while we are here. It was a 10/10 experience and we will be coming back!
- Ivan’s cooking experience was the highlight of our trip. He welcomed us into his beautiful home and shared his passion for cooking with us. The pasta, pesto, wine, and tiramisu were better than you could get at any restaurant we have visited. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and would highly recommend!!
- I took Ivan’s 3 course cooking class where we made fresh pesto, pasta, and tiramisu! It was an incredible experience to cook with Ivan who gave us all his secret cooking tips. The class could not have been in a better setting. We cooked together in his historic home located in a lovely seaside town. We closed the evening dining in the home’s garden. I highly recommend this class!
- Words cannot describe how amazing our time with Ivan truly was. The food, wine, and hands on cooking was the experience of a lifetime for me and my family. The greatest thing however was Ivan’s warm personality, kindness, and him being a man who values his family and guests. The pesto was out of this world and overall it was stellar! Thank you again!!
