Marble mortar, Genovese PDO basil, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt, Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino cheese: the perfect ingredients for a challenge in preparing the tastiest and most balanced Genovese pesto. A good dose of manual dexterity and a little training, following the directions of foodteller Fabio Bongiorni, for an engaging experience in pairs or groups. After a toast with a glass of Ligurian Vermentino, you will taste your pesto with a sampling of artisanal trofie al pesto, with a good aperitif of focaccia and other typical bruschetta, ending with the inevitable Italian-style coffee.
