For this special cooking class, I’ll welcome you into my home in Como to share an authentic experience made of scents, flavors, and memories.
It will be a true journey through my family’s traditional dishes, passed down from generation to generation. We’ll cook together grandma’s meatballs, grandpa’s risotto, and auntie’s apple cake — three recipes that speak of home, Sunday lunches, hands in dough, and the joy of being together. This course is inspired by a very special notebook: a handwritten recipe book created by my grandmother’s sister in the 1980s — a precious collection that now comes to life in my kitchen. - Amazing experience, delicious fresh food and wonderful host! We are a family of 7 and all loved our time with Margherita. We had wine, fresh melon and prosciutto to start and then made risotto, fish and fresh pasta finishing off with tiramisu. Highly recommend this experience and booking with Margherita! Her place was easy to find and clean and tidy. We had a large work table which was later transformed to a beautiful dining table to eat at. Margherita made the experience fun and everything was delicious! Highly recommend!

- We had a wonderful time at a cooking class in Margherita’s home, learning to make fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu from scratch. The experience was fun, and she explained each step clearly. Everything we made was delicious, especially the ravioli, and it felt special to enjoy the meal together in such a welcoming setting. Our group had 6 people, and it didn’t feel like we were strangers by the end of our meal. We would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a intimate and memorable culinary experience.
- Our family of six, all teenagers/young adults, loved this night with Chef Margarita! Margarita was fun, engaging and prepared with snacks and drinks upon arrival. We have done a few cooking classes in various countries/towns and this was our kids favorite. Casual yet interactive and the food was delicious!

My cooking style is a blend of influences from my two grandmothers: Southern Italian flavors and Milanese traditions, combined with tastes discovered through travel and living abroad. The result is a "Nonna-style" – generous, comforting portions with a modern and healthy twist. I put love into every dish, combining tradition and innovation to create meals that make people feel at home while offering something new. For me, cooking is the perfect way to bring people together, create precious memories, and celebrate the beauty of the flavors I have encountered on my journey.
