Put on your apron and join me for a fun and hands-on cooking class! You’ll learn to work with three types of dough: a rustic one for cucche and scifitieddi, egg pasta for stuffed ravioli, and a sweet dough for the traditional brioche col tuppo. Together, we’ll prepare typical Sicilian dishes like cucche with aged caciocavallo cheese and sausage, scifitieddi with fresh tomato and cheese, and ravioli in a rich pork sauce. To finish, we'll make brioche col tuppo served with homemade gelato. All accompanied by good wine, laughter, and a warm, authentic atmosphere. A true Sicilian culinary experience to enjoy and remember!

I'm Laura, and I live in the beautiful region of Sicily, precisely where Baroque architecture reigns supreme! Nestled among Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Montalbano's locations, and Noto, you'll find Ispica, the "City of Perfume," which Luigi Capuana described in his book Profumo: "High up, atop the cliff that plunged steeply, the sunlit bell towers, church domes, white facades, and dark roofs of a group of houses could be seen, facing the very edge of the precipice...." My home is open to you, offering a taste of our land's typical products. I love cooking traditional Sicilian dishes with simple ingredients characterized by age-old yet ever-present flavors! Ricotta ravioli with meat sauce, focaccia in various flavors, legumes, Sicilian cassata, ricotta cannoli, and much more will frame our evenings together, while preparing the dishes will bring us fun and enjoyment. I look forward to hosting you, eager to share my passion for cooking with you.
