My Salento cooking class is much more than just a cooking lesson; it’s a journey into the ancient rural traditions of my homeland.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to discover local culinary secrets, make fresh pasta using grain from my region, and then enjoy what we’ve prepared together in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The key ingredient is love: Salento cuisine is all about authentic flavours; for us, food is a warm embrace, and the dining table is home. In my kitchen, you’ll smell the aromas of days gone by and feel the love of yesteryear – it will be an unforgettable experience. Together we’ll prepare ‘ciciri e tria’ – pasta and chickpeas – ‘sagne ncannulate col sugo di braciola’ – hand-twisted pasta with a sauce made from meat rolls – and, for dessert, the traditional ‘pasticciotto’.

I am passionate about cooking, pastry, and baking, especially sourdough baking. My culinary philosophy is based on enhancing local, fresh, and seasonal ingredients. I chose to offer cooking classes to share my love for cooking and the ancient traditions passed down by my grandmothers, filled with authentic and genuine flavors. Together, we will prepare fresh pasta using local grains in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We will also make some classics of Salento cuisine, including the iconic pasticciotto leccese. We will end the experience by tasting what we have prepared, accompanied by a glass of excellent local wine, for a unique and unforgettable experience.
