Our Cesarine cooking class with Patrizia and Luca in Bellano was one of the absolute highlights of our 10-day trip to Italy! From the moment we arrived at their beautiful home, we felt as welcome as old friends. The house itself was lovely, with an incredible view overlooking Lake Como that made the entire experience feel magical. Patrizia taught us how to make pasta completely from scratch, including delicious linguini, tortellini, as well as tiramisu. We had so much fun learning the techniques, sharing laughs, and getting our hands into the cooking. And the best part was sitting down together afterward to enjoy a wonderful dinner made from the pasta we had prepared ourselves, followed by our homemade tiramisu. Patrizia and Luca are the perfect example of genuine Italian hospitality. Their warmth, generosity, and passion for food made the experience feel much more like being invited into the home of friends than attending a cooking class. If you are visiting Lake Como, we highly recommend spending an afternoon with Patrizia and Luca. The food, the setting, the instruction, and especially the hospitality made this an unforgettable experience and truly one of the highlights of our entire Italian trip.

We had a wonderful time in our class! They were wonderful hosts! We got to choose to make certain pasta dishes and then enjoy them on their wonderful back terrace in what is just a most beautiful and quaint neighborhood! We got to experience a piece of Bologna we never would have without them! Can not recommend this enough to anyone who is from beginner to food/cooking enthusiast! It was fun, informative, and delicious!
