We loved our evening with Valéria and Valentine. They taught us a superb tiramisu recipe and then served us a delicious appetizer. The welcome was warm and our hosts were very generous. We will not hesitate to do it again if we ever return to Rome.

Barbara and Stephan were absolutely amazing, the entire experience was something to remember. From the views at their home to the food they served I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a day in the cinque terra. Barabra was super attentive providing directions to her home, I do recommend booking the taxi service she provides or taking the bus, their home is up on the cliff side and is a trek to get to, make sure to wear walking shoes either way, but the views provided on the walk were stunning. She not only gave us the recipes in the class but taught us others after asking about what we like to eat. She provides an abundance of knowledge regarding the ingredients used, recommending alternatives for items that may be difficult to find back home. We were provided plenty of snacks and wine throughout the class and were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings in-between recipes. A 5 star 10/10 experience.

We had a great afternoon and evening with Maria and her family. I came across Maria on Cesarine when searching for cooking and food experiences for my visit to Naples for a few days with my family. The idea of a family home setting really appealed - as did cooking several different pasta as well as dessert! It didn't disappoint. Maria asked if we wanted to work to the advertised 3 hours or to take more time over the experience - we were there about 5 hours - making the most of: an aperitive on the terrace overlooking the sea; picking basil on the roof terrace; making pasta, gnocchi, sauce, pesto and tiramisu; eating on the terrace with the wider family over wine, and finishing with digestifs. It is hard to say what made it such a joyful experience - the workshop, the food, the view, or eating and chatting with the wider family over drinks. I would thoroughly recommend this as a chilled, private cooking and dining experience.
