There are no words to describe how wonderful our experience was with Cristiana. Her passion for both cooking and hospitality are evident in every aspect of the experience. Her home is wonderful, the food was fresh and the lesson was well presented. I love to cook so the opportunity to cook with a chef who learned from her grandmother will be my best experience in Italy. I wanted to learn something new so it wonderful to make a dish that I can now make at home. We had such a wonderful time at Patrizia’s Pasta & Tiramisu class and can absolutely recommend it to everyone! Booking was super easy, even though we only booked the evening before. Everything was perfectly prepared when we arrived. The recipes were traditional, simple and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. We loved that they are easy to recreate at home without a lot of effort or special ingredients. Patrizia and her mother (a real "Nonna" 😊 ) were incredibly friendly, welcoming and funny. They created such a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and we learned a lot about the traditional recipes and Italian cooking along the way. Everything was very well organized and spotless. The highlight was definitely sitting in the beautiful garden, enjoying the food we had prepared. It felt much more like being invited into someone’s home than attending a typical cooking class. It was such a lovely and authentic experience! We enjoyed every minute and would definitely do it again. We had such a wonderful time at Giada’s cooking class! From the moment we arrived at her home, we felt so welcome and comfortable. She was warm, patient, and made the whole experience feel like we were cooking with a friend. We learned how to make fresh tagliatelle and cavatelli from scratch, and it was so much fun to get our hands involved and discover the secrets behind authentic Italian pasta. Giada explained everything clearly, shared interesting stories about Italian food traditions, and made sure we both had a chance to participate. The best part was sitting down together at the end and enjoying the pasta we had prepared. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed, personal, and full of genuine Italian hospitality. If you’re visiting Milan and want to experience more than just sightseeing, we highly recommend Giada’s cooking class. Frequently asked questions
How does the Cesarine Gift Card work?
Choose the amount for the Gift Card by selecting one of the preset options or entering the amount you prefer. You can personalize the Gift Card by selecting a theme and adding a message for the gift recipient.
Then, proceed with the purchase: once the payment is completed, you’ll receive an email with the Gift Card attached. If you wish, you can also email the Gift Card directly to the recipient from the purchase confirmation page.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts?
From €50 to €500. Pick one of the preset amounts — €50, €100 or €200 — or type any figure you like within those limits.
When does the Gift Card arrive? Can I schedule the delivery?
The Gift Card arrives by email within minutes of payment, attached as a PDF. There is no scheduled delivery: it comes to you and you forward it whenever you like, Christmas morning included. From the order confirmation page you can also have it sent straight to the recipient's email address.
Do I need an account to buy or use the Gift Card?
To complete the purchase, yes: the checkout asks you to sign in or register. To use it, no: the recipient can book their experience as a guest, entering the code at payment.
How to book after purchasing the Gift Card?
You can use the Gift Card to purchase any experience on cesarine.com with a value equal to or greater than that of the card. After selecting the experience, simply enter the Gift Card code in the “Promo Code” field in the cart and click “Apply”: the Gift Card value will be deducted from the total amount. For any questions, visit help.cesarine.com.
Do I have to spend the whole amount at once?
Yes: the Gift Card is used on a single booking and in full — it leaves no balance to spend later. So pick an experience that costs at least as much as the Gift Card; if it costs more, you only pay the difference.
Can I use two Gift Cards on the same booking?
No: one Gift Card per booking.
How long is the Gift Card valid?
The Gift Card will be active for one year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the Gift Card PDF, along with the amount.
What language does the Gift Card come in?
You choose it when you buy — Italian, English, Spanish, French or German. The card and the instructions for using it arrive in the language you picked.
Can I print the Gift Card?
Yes — it is a PDF. Print it and hand it over, or forward the email as it is.
Are Gift Cards refundable?
No, Gift Cards are non-refundable.
If I cancel the booking, do I lose the Gift Card?
No. If a booking paid with the Gift Card is cancelled, the Gift Card becomes active again and can be used for another experience.
