We had a great afternoon and evening with Maria and her family. I came across Maria on Cesarine when searching for cooking and food experiences for my visit to Naples for a few days with my family. The idea of a family home setting really appealed - as did cooking several different pasta as well as dessert! It didn't disappoint. Maria asked if we wanted to work to the advertised 3 hours or to take more time over the experience - we were there about 5 hours - making the most of: an aperitive on the terrace overlooking the sea; picking basil on the roof terrace; making pasta, gnocchi, sauce, pesto and tiramisu; eating on the terrace with the wider family over wine, and finishing with digestifs. It is hard to say what made it such a joyful experience - the workshop, the food, the view, or eating and chatting with the wider family over drinks. I would thoroughly recommend this as a chilled, private cooking and dining experience.

We had a wonderful cooking class with Marco. He was so nice and engaging and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this class to anyone traveling in Cagliari, Sardinia.

Our group had a wonderful experience in Claudia’s home with her husband Francesco. They were both a delight and treated us like family. First we shopped in the charming village of Spoleto for our ingredients which was informative and really fun. Then on to Claudia and Francesco’s home to cook a delicious white ragu with Pappardelle pasta. It was very fun making the pasta as I have never done that before. We also had a delicious antipasto plate of local sausage and two different types of bruschetta. It was all fabulous and made even better by the charming hosts Claudia and Francesco. I would definitely recommend and visit again! Oh and Mamas cake and coffee was the perfect ending to our meal.

Claudia and Francesco were the prefect hosts for our shopping in Spoleto for the coming class in their home. We learned a lot about the cooking, loved making pasta for the first time and the meal was delicious! The best part was visiting with them and learning about their lives and sharing ours!
