This was a wonderful time from start to finish with Oriana. She has a lovely apartment with an amazing views which sets a wonderful backdrop for the cooking class. We learned to make tagliatelle hands-on (and served woth her delicious ragu), mortadella mouse (surprisingly easy and incredibly delicious), and real tiramisu (which I’ve never actually had). The meal itself was absolutely delicious, including fresh vegetable sides to die for. It was a standout experience of our trip.

If you’re looking for a quick, sign-up-and-go group cooking class, this is NOT it. This is an experience—one that you will remember long after the meal is over. My wife and I traveled roughly 5,310 miles from home to share this experience with Teresa and her family, and before we’ve even left, we’re already talking about coming back. That alone should tell you how special this was. We cooked, we learned, we laughed, we talked—and somehow, within a few hours, we felt like we were spending time with friends rather than people we had just met. Think about it: Who opens their home to complete strangers and welcomes them to their family table? Not many people. Teresa does. And that says everything about the kind of person she is. She and her family are truly salt-of-the-earth people who understand that food, conversation, laughter, and simply being human have a way of bringing people together. No labels, no differences—just people sharing a table. And then there was the food. We cooked with ingredients from Teresa and her family’s own garden and farm, and the meal was absolutely incredible. It wasn’t just a cooking class—it was a genuine taste of their home, their family, and their way of life. Teresa was the perfect host and an exceptional instructor. She made the gnocchi and babbaiola napoletana approachable and easy enough that we actually feel confident recreating them when we get back to the U.S. (assuming we can find the right ingredients!). Do yourself a favor: book this experience. Skip the group class. Come hungry, come curious, and be prepared to leave with a full stomach, some great memories, and maybe a new friend. Frequently asked questions
How does the Cesarine Gift Card work?
Choose the amount for the Gift Card by selecting one of the preset options or entering the amount you prefer. You can personalize the Gift Card by selecting a theme and adding a message for the gift recipient.
Then, proceed with the purchase: once the payment is completed, you’ll receive an email with the Gift Card attached. If you wish, you can also email the Gift Card directly to the recipient from the purchase confirmation page.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts?
From €50 to €500. Pick one of the preset amounts — €50, €100 or €200 — or type any figure you like within those limits.
When does the Gift Card arrive? Can I schedule the delivery?
The Gift Card arrives by email within minutes of payment, attached as a PDF. There is no scheduled delivery: it comes to you and you forward it whenever you like, Christmas morning included. From the order confirmation page you can also have it sent straight to the recipient's email address.
Do I need an account to buy or use the Gift Card?
To complete the purchase, yes: the checkout asks you to sign in or register. To use it, no: the recipient can book their experience as a guest, entering the code at payment.
How to book after purchasing the Gift Card?
You can use the Gift Card to purchase any experience on cesarine.com with a value equal to or greater than that of the card. After selecting the experience, simply enter the Gift Card code in the “Promo Code” field in the cart and click “Apply”: the Gift Card value will be deducted from the total amount. For any questions, visit help.cesarine.com.
Do I have to spend the whole amount at once?
Yes: the Gift Card is used on a single booking and in full — it leaves no balance to spend later. So pick an experience that costs at least as much as the Gift Card; if it costs more, you only pay the difference.
Can I use two Gift Cards on the same booking?
No: one Gift Card per booking.
How long is the Gift Card valid?
The Gift Card will be active for one year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the Gift Card PDF, along with the amount.
What language does the Gift Card come in?
You choose it when you buy — Italian, English, Spanish, French or German. The card and the instructions for using it arrive in the language you picked.
Can I print the Gift Card?
Yes — it is a PDF. Print it and hand it over, or forward the email as it is.
Are Gift Cards refundable?
No, Gift Cards are non-refundable.
If I cancel the booking, do I lose the Gift Card?
No. If a booking paid with the Gift Card is cancelled, the Gift Card becomes active again and can be used for another experience.

The Cesarine Community is present in over 400 cities: from major tourist destinations to the most charming small villages.
