My name is Annarita, and I’m a Cesarina from Bari—a city where cooking is a true daily ritual, made of simplicity, familiar aromas, and flavors that tell the story of who we are.I love preparing traditional dishes from Bari and the Puglia region—recipes that speak of family, sharing, and the rhythm of the seasons.I use simple, local ingredients, carefully selected, because for me, cooking is above all an expression of love for my land.Welcoming people to my table and making them feel at home is one of the things that brings me the most joy.Through my cooking, I want to offer an authentic experience, filled with genuine flavors and traditions passed down from generation to generation.

The Market tour and Cooking Class with Annarita was a very special experience. She took us around the local market explaining the various things she looked for in the fresh products and ways she used them. We had a bonus of going to her mother’s house to cook (a former chef and “nonna”). the family makes their own olive oil, limoncello, etc. which we were treated to. We were taught how to highlight the ingredients and felt like we became part of their delightful family. She was also thoughtful enough to provide a lovely young translator to fill in any gaps so we fully understood everything. It is one of the wonderful experiences of visiting this beautiful part of Italy and shouldn’t be missed!

The orecchiette and tiramisu class was a wonderful experience! Three generations worked together to teach us, using ingredients from their gardens and their skills that were passed down thru generations. So enjoyed the hands on learning and the opportunity to be in their home to eat the delicious meal we prepared. Thank you, I'll be making these recipes again many times!

Annarita, her 84 yr-old mother, and college-aged daughter (who served as translator) have created a cooking experience that not only far exceeded my wife’s and my expectations, but also warmed our hearts from the passion, enthusiasm, and dedication the three women all put into this rare opportunity. We left feeling like we just spent 3 hrs with extended family members that were so very happy to cook such an amazing Italian dinner for the seven of us that had booked this experience! We will never forget the time spent with them and enthusiastically recommend this experience to any and all!

Annarita e sua figlia ci hanno fatto da guida nella città' vecchia di Bari, e i suoi dintorni. Dopo di che, assieme a tutta la famiglia, abbiamo pranzato con delizie tipiche pugliesi (versione vegana). Molti piatti deliziosi e sazianti. Una famiglia davvero bella e generosa. Fortunati di averle avute come Cesarine!
