The experience is great, we learnt so much and had great fun. Fernanda and her husband were amazing hosts. She taught us how to make the tastiest Barese focaccia. We absolutely recommend this for anyone!

Ho sempre voluto imparare a fare le orecchiette come una vera pugliese e con la signora Fernanda ho decisamente fatto la scelta giusta! Appena arrivata sono stata accolta con un aperitivo tutto pugliese (taralli, salame, olive), abbiamo chiacchierato un po’ e poi siamo subito partite con la preparazione di orecchiette (con le cime di rapa fresche da mercato) e crostata fatte in casa. La cura e la passione che la signora Fernanda ha nel cucinare e nell’insegnare è impagabile. Un pranzo che non dimenticherò mai e che non vedo l’ora di riproporre ai miei cari! Porterò questa esperienza nel cuore, ringrazio tanto la signora Fernanda e suo marito per la giornata che mi hanno fatto passare, con tanto cibo e risate!

Fernanda has been AMAZING! She welcomed us into her home and we had the best experience ever. It was the highlight of our trip to Bari. I am now back home and wishing I was still in Bari in Fernanda's home. We made orecchiette and tiramisu, and the best part is that we shared a sunday lunch meal with her and her friends. Rosa was so helpful as well as whenever I couldn't express myself in Italian, she translated for me. We had the best cauliflower orecchiette ever, even though I am not a fan of orecchiette. If you're in Bari and love food, please, don't miss out on this opportunity!
