: We had the pleasure of dining in the home of Katia B. In Lecce, with her husband Gregario and son Angelo. We met Katia and Angelo in town, visited some markets, and sampled local food and wine. They then took us to their lovely home near the sea, where we ate out on the front porch in the stillness of the evening, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We got a warm greeting from Gregario when we arrived. Katia prepared a delicious dinner of antipasto, which included homemade bread and meatballs, orecchiette with tomato and cheese sauce, and tiramisu, also all homemade by Katia. My husband said it was the best he ever tasted. Our conversation flowed easily, thanks to Angelo, our interpretator for the evening. So if you would like to enjoy a very different and relaxing experience while in Lecce, we suggest you visit with Cesarina Katia B. and her family. Ciao and Buon Appetito!
: We had a truly wonderful memorable experience with Katia, her husband Gregorio and son Angelo. Nonno Angelo also stopped by. Katia and Angelo met us at a point that was easy to navigate to and we followed them to the compound. The family is extremely warm and welcoming. We went to the garden, picked vegetables, cooked and ate a stupendous lunch and got to visit with this lovely family. My husband said it was the best meal that he had had during our 3 month stay in Italy.
: I spent a wonderful evening with Katia and her family. We made homemade pasta together and had an amazing meal with a lot of lovely vegetables from their own garden afterwards. Big thank you and I’d be happy to come back again!
