I was born and raised in Arezzo, among the Tuscan hills, and the most beautiful memories of my childhood are tied to food.I still remember the penne with tomato sauce I used to eat at preschool, the raw onion dipped in olive oil I’d snack on in my Aunt Rosina’s garden, the picnics we had with the whole family, and the milk and cookies my father made for me every morning.Every Sunday I would wake up to the smell of my mother’s simmering sauce.I’d be lying if I said that my passion for food didn’t inspire my desire to learn how to cook—and to be honest, I’ve always thought that when I grew up, cooking was the only thing I could really see myself doing.I favor simple, wholesome cuisine, made with high-quality, seasonal ingredients. I treat food with passion and respect because I know the effort and time it takes to grow a tomato, a zucchini, or an eggplant.Together with my husband, we produce olive oil, and we know that if we want a good harvest, we need to work year-round and tend to our olive trees the way a mother cares for her child.I consider each of my recipes a gesture of love. After all, cooking isn’t that hard—it just takes joy. If I can cook, anyone can. I will welcome you into my family home, where you will experience cooking traditional Tuscan recipes passed down through generations—a journey through memories and stories.
