Ma cuisine est liée à la tradition, avec une touche de licence poétique pour certains aliments que je trouve trop forts. Née et élevée à Messine, j'ai en réalité appris la tradition messinaise à l'âge adulte, car mes parents étaient originaires de Gioiosa Marea et de Piraino, deux provinces de Messine mais avec des méthodes très différentes.J'essaie de réunir ces différences dans un goût, je dirais, agréable. J'aime découvrir et surtout, je voudrais que ces traditions ne disparaissent pas.

- Mariella was our host and she was absolutely amazing. I really recommend this adventure to be able to have somebody pick you up. Take you to their beautiful home and tell you all about their beautiful town and country was wonderful. Not to mention what a great cook she was the food was incredible and she allowed us to cook some and showed us how to make pasta she made us like 15 different things and then we sat down at a beautiful dining table and we’re able to share stories with her very interactive experience. You won’t regret booking this so much better than just doing a normal tour. If you can get. Mariella in Messina do not hesitate!! The whole experience made our vacation!!

- We loved our experience with Mariella. It was so nice of her to open her house up to us and help show us how to make a bunch of Sicilian treats. Come hungry because you will leave as full as you have been in a while. Mariella was great and fun to talk to. Very very little English but was easy to communicate through google translate. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a very authentic Sicilian experience.
