Benvenuti nella mia casa di campagna. Il nostro programma includerà la preparazione di tre ricette: un antipasto, un primo piatto di pasta fresca e un dessert, seguiti da un delizioso menù a tre portate con i piatti che avrete preparato. Inizieremo il nostro percorso culinario con un tradizionale tagliere di affettati e formaggi, accompagnati da marmellate fatte in casa con i frutti delle mie piante. Poi, ci cimenteremo nella preparazione di lenticchie locali con salsicce casarecce, un piatto che cattura l'essenza delle nostre tradizioni. Successivamente, metteremo letteralmente le mani in pasta per creare gli Strengozzi, una pasta fresca tipica delle domeniche di festa, accompagnata da tartufo locale. Per concludere in dolcezza, realizzeremo insieme il tiramisù.

We have spent such a nice evening with Claudia and Francesco. Not only were the food and the explanation really great, they are also great hosts. They welcomed us in their lovely home like friends. If you want to experience authentic Italian food and hospitality, this is it. Thank you again to Claudia and Francesco for this great experience.

Claudia and her family were so loving and welcomed us into their home. Claudia showed us some new recipes which we’ll be trying at home again soon. Their passion for the local food culture was evident, and we loved our conversations about the local Italian traditions and culture. Best experience ever!!! Claudia and her family were incredibly welcoming and made the experience so enjoyable. They shared their love for the town and community with us as well as their love for food. We were able to walk and see several highlights of Spoleto as we shopped for some local ingredients. Many items she and her family had grown and made, including their olive oil. Claudia’s kitchen is beautiful and makes for the perfect place to learn some traditional dishes. They were truly wonderfuL. If you're in Italy you ABSOLUTELY have to do this!

We wanted a cook lesson because we love Italian food; didn’t know for sure what was waiting for us and were incredibly impressed by the simplicity and the friendliness of Claudia and her husband Francesco. She showed us the good places to buy real local food and hosted us in their lovely home. We directly felt at ease and cooked and laughed together like friends. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and joyful. We warmly recommend this experience to all the people that like Italian food and conviviality. We had a fantastic time with Claudia and Francesco. As well as learning some new techniques and eating delicious food, it was wonderful to be welcomed into their home. Their passion for the local food culture really shone through and we had some great conversations about the differences between the food cultures in Italy and the UK. This was more than just a cooking class, it was an immersive experience which, of all the things we have done while on holiday here, made us feel most connected to the region and people.

"Ho sempre amato il mio territorio e i suoi prodotti. Mio padre coltivava la terra e allevava animali, per questo nella mia famiglia siamo da sempre abituati a mangiare prodotti di ottima qualità e a km 0. Dal momento in cui mi sono sposata,  ho continuato la tradizione di famiglia riproponendo i piatti tipici che mio padre era solito preparare per noi e i miei ospiti sono sempre contenti quando vengono invitati a pranzo o a cena."
