- Spaghetti 'alla puttanesca' with olives and capers
- Torta Caprese with lemon (traditional Italian cake from the island of Capri)
The bruschettas offered on this menu are traditional ones from family lunches, such as spaghetti alla puttanesca. Caprese is a dessert born in Capri but what on the island of Ischia is always prepared at family lunches, with lemons from my garden the recipe is sure to be special. We accompany it with local wine and homemade limoncello

Her passion for Italian cuisine shines through, and she takes the time to explain everything with patience and clarity. The food was incredibly delicious - the best we ate in Forio, and the fresh ingredients were all from her or her family’s garden which made it even more special. The recipes showcased the beauty of fresh ingredients through simple, yet exquisite recipes like bruschetta, two vibrant pasta dishes, and a heavenly homemade tiramisu. The use of tomatoes, lemons, basil, and zucchini brought an authentic and refreshing taste to each dish, making the class both educational and deliciously rewarding. Her recommendations of where else to go on the island were very well appreciated too. I can’t wait to cook the recipes myself at home when we get back, and to do another cooking class with her when we come back to Ischia
