We’ll visit the port of Oneglia, starting by watching the fish auction: an exclusive and vibrant moment where the freshly landed catch is sold. Then we’ll stroll along the quay to the former Agnesi pasta factory, where I’ll tell you how, right here in these very places, in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, Imperia was the world centre for the olive oil and wheat trade.
Finally, we’ll board a fishing boat to round off our experience with an aperitif in the harbour, featuring local specialities, fresh fish and fried delicacies, accompanied by a local wine of your choice.
