    Let’s make pesto, the iconic sauce of this region. We’ll meet in Lucinasco, at our farm nestled among olive trees, and with mortar and pestle in hand, we’ll make pesto: basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, coarse salt, and... a few trade secrets.

    We’ll tell you a bit about ourselves, pick the basil, talk about the ingredients, and make pesto together using the traditional mortar. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a tasting experience designed to immerse you in our local traditions. Everything will be accompanied by two glasses of wine (or non-alcoholic beverages), carefully selected by Giada to pair with our farm’s products.

    Giada went above & beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Her hospitality was exceptional and each of the dishes she prepared were delicious, unique and memorable. We cannot recommend this experience enough for anyone seeking a different activity outside of either Genoa or Nice. It’s about halfway between either city tucked away in a tiny Italian hillside village surrounded by 300-year-old olive groves. Stunning all around and truly left our group at a loss for words!

    The cuisine I love is made of simple dishes, mostly vegetarian and typical of Liguria. The quintessential seasoning, pesto made in a mortar, and then everything that our garden and orchard provide, to transform into delicious dishes where vegetables are not a side dish but the center of gastronomic preparation.
