  • Seasonal vegetables (fried courgette flowers in batter, fried cornaletti typical Fasanese pepper, lampascione flower, artichokes in batter) Meatballs Bread
  • Homemade Orecchiette with organic sauce, goat's cheese, ricotta and fresh basil from the garden or Orecchiette with turnip greens
  • Aubergine rolls stuffed with meat
  • Sweetened almonds

We will have a unique experience together in our small country farmhouse nestled in the characteristic landscape of Puglia, with expanses of olive trees sloping down to the sea and views from above of the entire landscape below. Together we will take a journey into the past, discovering traditions and visiting small farms that will show us their freshly harvested produce and dairy products. We will prepare the famous orecchiette pasta together! Everyone will have what they need to perform the lesson. This will be accompanied by the preparation of orecchiette pasta with tomato sauce, goat cacioricotta cheese and fresh basil that we will harvest from our garden.

The experience was awkward. Guidance and conversation were only partially translated leaving us feeling uncomfortable and confused about the cooking instructions. Food was tasty, though!

Maria was a glorious teacher of her Italian cuisine and her masseria that you get to cook in is gorgeous. Picking from her garden and bringing the ingredients back to cook was amazing. She had her daughter with her to help interpret as well and they are both very joyful people.

A friend and I did an amazing cooking class with Maria and her lovely daughter, Sonia. It was a fantastic experience learning how to make so many dishes - bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and herbs picked from the garden, fried zucchini flower, polpette, orecchiette and sweetened almonds. Maria gave us helpful guidance and tips and was a very warm and friendly. The setting is just stunning. And afterwards we ate what had been cooked, accompanied by an excellent home grown wine. I would highly recommend this experience and Maria. It was an unforgettable day!
